Welcome to Emnode
What Emnode does, who it is for, and how to get the most from these docs.
Last updated
Emnode keeps your cloud costs, compliance, reliability and monitoring under control across AWS and Azure, without it becoming anyone's full-time job. It connects to your accounts read-only, surfaces what needs attention, and gives you the exact steps to fix it.
These docs are the practical companion to the product. If you are setting Emnode up for the first time, start with Set up an AWS FOCUS cost data export.
What you get
Emnode is organised around four areas, each with its own findings and remediation guidance.
- Cost — wasted spend, idle resources and cheaper equivalents, with the saving quantified before you act.
- Compliance — Security Hub and Defender for Cloud controls, mapped to a fix you can copy and paste.
- Reliability — single points of failure and missing redundancy across your workloads.
- Monitoring — gaps where a problem could happen without anyone being told.
Emnode never needs write access to act. It reads your account, tells you what to change, and you stay in control of every change. Nothing about your resources leaves your environment beyond what is needed to produce a finding.
Where to go next
Set up your AWS cost data export, then grant the dashboard access. The Guides section covers the recurring tasks once you are up and running.
